The grand opening for the LaGrange Hobby Lobby is set for Monday, Jan. 1st at 9 a.m.

A representative with Hobby Lobby confirmed the opening day.

The official grand opening event is January 1st 9 a.m. to noon at its location at 1501 Lafayette Parkway in LaGrange.

There will be refreshments for customers.

According to Hobby Lobby, this is a proposed opening day.

It may change due to renovation extensions at any time.

The 55,000 square-foot LaGrange Hobby Lobby is expected to bring 35 to 50 jobs to the community. Hobby Lobby pays $15.70 for full-time employees and $10.45 for part-time.

A hiring evening has not been scheduled yet, but representatives suggest checking https://careers.hobbylobby.com periodically for updates.

The store will carry more than 70,000 crafting and home décor products including floral, fabric, needle art, custom framing, baskets, home accents, wearable art, wedding supplies, arts, and crafts and much more.

Store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. All Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.
