The Lafayette Christian School boys’ basketball team lost a 72-71 heart-breaker to Trinity Christian on Tuesday in overtime.

Cameron Geisler scored 28 points to lead the Cougars, while Ross Clifton added 22 points.

The Cougars (1-1) will look to get back on track when they visit the LaGrange Academy Warriors on Thursday.

There will be a girls’ game first at 6 p.m., with the boys’ game to follow.
