Hubert “Tom” Cotton, Sr. passed away last Friday.

He was born April 3, 1935, to the late, Mr. Hubert Cotton, Sr.

He was a member of Mountain Hill Baptist Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

He worked at Kex Plant for 20 years and landscaping for Dr. Copeland and others for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Arneta Brown Cotton; two sons, Roger (Wanda) Cotton, LaGrange, Georgia; Tommie (Cherly) Cotton, Hephzibah, Georgia; four daughters, Lesia Johnson and Linda Ballard, Vivian Williams all of Atlanta, GA; Nina M. Cotton, LaGrange, GA; 30 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Maddox, Columbus, GA; Mrs. Myrtice George, Mrs. Mary Ann Walker, Mrs. Martha Dorsey, all of Columbus, Georgia; Mrs. Ruby (Johnnie) Bryant, Pine Mountain, GA; and Ms. Helen Cotton, Columbus, Georgia; brother, Rufus Cox; special friends; sister-in-law, Trisha Cotton; brother-in-law, Willie Dawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m.
