Jeffery McGhee passed away Tuesday.

He was born Dec. 22, 1962, in LaGrange (Troup County) Georgia to Emma McGhee and the late, John McGhee, Jr.,

He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church; and graduate of LaGrange High School, Class of 1982. His past employment included WGMC where in worked in the Culinary Department as a cook.

Survivors include his mother, Emma McGhee; four brothers:  John McGhee, III, Render Potts, Thomas McGhee, and Eric McGhee; one sister, Teresa McGhee, all of LaGrange, GA: three nephews, Wayne Radford, Jr., Eric McGhee, Jr., and Richard McGhee; four nieces:  Brittany McGhee, Hope McGhee, Render Potts, and Carmen McGhee; and extended family.

The service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church.
