More than $2,000 worth of items stolen from beauty shop

More than $2,000 worth of items were allegedly stolen during a burglary from Golden Beauty Supply on Commerce Avenue Wednesday at 3:24 a.m.

Officers responded to the scene after someone who was cleaning the parking lot noticed the front door was busted and hair extensions were laying on the ground.

The security video showed three men enter the store and grab large amounts of hair extensions and exit the store before coming back and taking more. The store owner told police the men took expensive hair brand products.

Truck loses wheel, lug nuts may have been loosened

A truck driven by a Troup High School student lost a wheel on its way home Tuesday. The student’s father told police when he checked the rest of the truck’s wheels, he discovered several lug nuts were missing or loose.

The student was not injured, according to the police report.

Fraudulent return reported at The Children’s Place

A woman allegedly posed as the Peachtree City Children’s Place manager and fraudulently returned $665.95 worth of stolen merchandise at The Children’s Place on Lafayette Parkway Sunday. The store manager told police she does not know where the female went when she left the store.

More than $800 worth of toys stolen from Walmart

A woman allegedly shoplifted more than $800 worth of toys from Walmart on New Franklin Road Tuesday before 12:50 p.m.

According to the police report, a woman was pushing a shopping cart that contained a R/C car and three hover boards. She allegedly left through the garden center without paying.
