The Thursday Lunch Club (TLC) met at noon Dec. 7, 2017 in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church.  Linda Frano welcomed everyone and called on Dr. Brian Germano, Sr. Pastor, First United Methodist Church LaGrange, to add his welcome and blessing.

UMW Circle served and hosted the meal and for the placement of the special table decorations.

Enid  Tate, and Dodie Patterson assisted with the attendee list and donations.

Beth Creed for administered blood pressure checks prior to the meal.

There were several new attendees. Everyone in attendance with a birthday in December and January was given a special cupcake.

Jake Behr, Program Chair announced a drawing for four live poinsettias donated by Garden Solutions.

Jake called upon Kathy Howard and Barbara Henigin to draw the names. Dusty Mills assisted.

The winners of the four live poinsettias were Mary Henderson, Kathy Howard, John McManaway and Bonny Savelle.

Jake Behr, introduced the The New Horizon Choir which meets every Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on the Square.

The group has been together for 25 years. The choir sings regularly at retirement centers, nursing homes and worship services. The choir is directed by Anthony Criswell.  The next meeting of TLC will be Feb. 1, 2017.
