Active Life Volunteer Wanda Stribling receives Statewide Volunteer of the Year Award

Wanda Stribling was recognized at the state and district level and presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association Annual Conference in Columbus.
Wanda Stribling was praised for her dedication and willingness to serve The Active Life in LaGrange. She volunteered 20 plus hours a week to fill a vital role when a staff member was out for four months due to surgery.
Wanda volunteer on the Active Life Leadership Team in the role of planning and facilitating multi-day trips that participants enjoy three to four times each year.
Wanda is also an active member of the local Kiwanis chapter where she has served on the local, state and national level.
She continually gives of her time and talents in whatever ways she can.
