Mr. Jerry Scott, 64, of LaGrange passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Scott was born Jan. 22, 1953, in LaGrange, Georgia, son of the late William Arnold Scott, Sr. and Rachel Pauline McCormick Scott. He retired as a truck driver with Vaughan Transportation and a member of Pine View Baptist Church. Jerry loved many things especially loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Brigette Scott; daughter, Elaine Adams; son, Jerry Scott, Jr; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brantley, Maisey, Breanna, Harley, Zachary, Jessie, Jerry IV,; great grandchildren, Graylen and Brenlee; and many nieces and nephew; siblings, William (Bill) and Barbara Scott, Jr., Larry W. Scott, Sr. Peggy S. Price,; brother-in-law, Glenn Upchurch, sisters-in-law, Freda (Michael) Green, Glenis (Mark) Payne, Tammy East. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Geneva Mabry.

Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. Joel C. Scott officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday Dec. 19, 2017, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
