Andrew Keith Smith is currently wanted by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office for an aggravated assault earlier this month.

Sgt. Stewart Smith said Andrew struck another man with a baseball bat around Dec. 8.

“[The two men] were having a dispute and [Andrew] hit him with a ball bat,” Stewart said.

“The report was done on the 8^th, but I think [the investigators] were trying to see if they could track him down without putting it on Facebook,” Stewart said. “But they didn’t have any luck, so they put it out there.”

Andrew Smith was previously charged with probation violation.

According to the TCSO’s Facebook post, Andrew Smith may be driving a brown 1999 Mercedes station wagon.

Andrew Smith is 5-feet and 9-inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds, according to Stewart.
