A ceremony was held at Ayres Memorial Methodist church on Dec. 10 to celebrate David Wayne Ward, Jr.’s accomplishment of attaining the Eagle Scout rank.

He is the son of David Wayne Ward and Amy Freeman Ward of LaGrange and a member of Boy Scout Troop 21 sponsored by First United Methodist Church.

Chris Snyder and the Home Depot of LaGrange very generously donated materials for Ward to complete his Eagle Scout Service project at Ayres.

Ward thanks his current scoutmaster Jim Baker, his former Cub Scout leader Kim Crawford, all the Scout leaders that helped him along the way, and especially his former Scout master and mentor Todd Stephens.
