Doretha Ann “Dot” McFarlin passed away Saturday.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1955, to the parents of Maddie Will and Edward Lee McFarlin in LaGrange, Georgia.

She united with Eastside Baptist Church and remained an active member of under the current leadership of the Rev. Michael Stiggers.

Survivors include her son, Adrian (Shakell) McFarlin; her only grandson, Adriontae McFarlin; three sisters, Anita (Aaron) Smith and Janice Todd of West Point, Georgia and Cornelia Hubbard of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, Floyd (Annie) Wallace and Willie Wallace of West Point, Georgia; sister-in-law, Annie Jean Wallace, Chicago, Illinois: a special friends, godmother, Linda Faye White, LaGrange, Georgia, three god-sisters and two god-brothers; devoted nieces, nephews and a loving host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
