The celebration of life service for Mrs. Georgia Mae Boddie Tucker will be held Wednesday at noon at the Eastside Baptist Church on Mason Street. Pastor Michael Stiggers will officiate. Burial will be in the Southview Cemetery.

Mrs. Tucker, a native of Troup County, was born April 8, 1936, and was the daughter of the late George Boddie and Eva Mae Atkinson.   She was employed with Tindrel Cleaning and enjoyed reading “Jet” magazines, “Reader’s Digest”, baseball, wrestling and roller skating.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her husband, Louis Tucker; children: Jarvis Tucker, Gloria (Ronald) Jackson, Kathy Tucker Spicer, Georgette Tucker Iverson and Yolanda Tucker;  special sister, Margaret Russ; 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lewis Tucker, and sister, Lillian Junior.

The family will be at 502B Borton Street.
