James Goodman passed away Friday.

He was born Dec. 28, 1946, in Harris County, Georgia to Mr. Moses Goodman Sr. and Mary Lou Goodman.

James Goodman was member of Trinity C.M.E.  Church. He graduated Carver High School, served in the US Marine Corps and was employed by Coleman Bass, Inc.

Survivors include his companion Brigitt Bray; his children Teresa (Alonzo) Moss, Reginald Goodman, Sheila (Emmitt) White, Melissa (Bobby) Holmes, and James (Cheryl) Grier; brother, Moses Goodman Jr.; grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends that love him dearly.

The service will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Trinity CME Church.
