Lucile Gillenwaters Fincher of LaGrange, passed away on Dec. 30, 2017, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

She was born on May 29, 1927, to the late, William Crowel Gillenwaters and Bessie Breedlove Gillenwaters. She was a nurse assistant for 31 years, and later became the church secretary for Unity Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Tom L Fincher; son, Mike Fincher; five brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Fincher; daughter, Brenda Fincher Hearn; brother, Clark Gillenwaters; sister, Janice Moore; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel. Funeral service will follow starting at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Doug Bingham and the Rev. Bobby Robinson officiating.
