The celebration of life service for Mrs. Katie Lou Price Scott of LaGrange will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Trinity Seventh Day Adventist Church on Jenkins Street. Pastor Walter Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in the Southview Cemetery.

Mrs. Scott, a native of Pine Mountain, was born Nov.14, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Lizzie Mae Price and John Green. She previously worked for the Cagle’s Plant and was a member of Trinity Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Scott.

Survivors include her loving and devoted son, Horace (Ruby Carol) Price; daughter, Betty Jean Price, all of LaGrange; four grandchildren: Trenton L. Price, Eric D. Price, Marshae K. Price, Sharome S. Watts and god-grandchild, Santana K. Carston; step-daughter, Dorothy (Leroy) Shepherd; stepson, George (Avva) Scott; one great-granddaughter, Mercedes Price; close cousins, Shirley Miller (George) Bell; many other cousins, friends and special thanks to the McClendon family.

The family will be at the home of her son and daughter, Horace and Ruby Carol Price at 103 Royal Court.
