It was a winning senior night for the LaGrange High wrestling team, which beat Haralson County and Heard County on Monday.

LaGrange lost to Haralson County earlier this season, but it turned the tables on Monday and won 39-28.

In the day’s final match, LaGrange overwhelmed Heard County 59-24.

Against Haralson County, winners for LaGrange were Lane Oliver, Mason McPeters, Walter Oliver, John Arthur, Joseph Bozeman, Dexter Fitzpatrick, R.J. Haley and Charles Ray.

Winners against Heard County were Hunter Brooks, Matt Callaway, Deshawn Hill, Demetrius Dean, Arthur, Fitzpatrick, Ray, Lane Oliver and McPeters.

Before the match, seniors Lane Oliver, Cole Everett, Deshawn Hill, Demetrius Dean and John Arthur were recognized.

LaGrange will host the Area 5-AAAA traditional tournament on Saturday.
