Mr. David L. Thomas, 69, of LaGrange passed away early Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at WellStar Hospice LaGrange.

David was born David LeRoy Thomas Feb. 9, 1948, in Highland Falls New York the son of the late LeRoy M. & Mary McPeters Thomas. David was retired from the LaGrange Duracell Plant as a maintenance mechanic under the Proctor and Gamble administration. Proceeded in death by his two sisters, Susan Scothrone and Mary Francis Thomas.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Sue Thomas of LaGrange, Georgia; daughters, Kimberly Michelle Thomas of LaGrange, Georgia and Amy Sue Cook, LaGrange, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, David Allen (Julie) Thomas of Tennessee; grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Benussi of LaGrange, Georgia, Helen and Norman Tassoulis , Bullhead City, Arizona; Barbara and Don Phillips of LaGrange, Georgia, Sharon and Burt Needham of Winter Haven, Florida, Donna and Rafeek Zayed, Chicago, Florida and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. David L. Thomas will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the chapel of the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Von Epps officiating. The family will receive Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
