Alonzo Askew passed away Monday.

He was born June 21, 1958, in LaGrange, Georgia to the late, Jimmy and Margaret Askew.

He was a graduate of LaGrange High School, class of 1976 and was previously employed by InterFace, and then received Electric, Plumbing, and HVAC Licenses.

He united with St. Paul Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Angela L. Askew; two daughters, Monica K. Harris and Monique M. Askew; son, Marsenio A. Askew; five grandchildren; four brothers, Roger Askew, Albert Lee (Linda) Gates, Darren Gates, Anthony Askew; one sister, Cynthia (Joseph) Parkmond; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.
