Lamar County beat Callaway 60-54 earlier this season.

“I’m very pleased,” Callaway head coach Terry Hayes said. “Our intensity level stayed up. It carried over from Tuesday (against Heard County).”

Ja’Vontay Boddie led Callaway with 16 points, and Antinez Blount and DQ Wilkerson added 12 points apiece.

In Friday’s girls’ game, Callaway fell to 5-3 in the region with a 74-58 loss.
