Brian Lee Ferrell

Mr. Brian Lee Ferrell, 49, of Lone Oak, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at his home.
Mr. Ferrell was born Oct. 9, 1968, in Cobb County and lived in the Hogansville area most of his life. He was employed as safety coordinator and director of first responders for Yokogawa America in Newnan. A member and Sunday school teacher at Allen-Lee Memorial United Methodist Church in Lone Oak, he also served as mayor of Lone Oak, as a volunteer EMT, and as captain of the Lone Oak Station of the Meriwether Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Ferrell of Lone Oak; daughter, Dakota and Juawan Caradine of Columbus; son, Paul and Savannah Jordan of LaGrange; granddaughter, Kendall Jordan; father and step-mother, Lee and Barbara Ferrell of Manchester; brothers, Eddie and Ellen Ferrell and Justin Ferrell, all of Hogansville; sister, Melody and Keith Pike of LaGrange; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Daniel Ferrell.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael McFarlin and the Rev. Dr. Lamar Truitt will officiate and interment will be in Gray Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday night.
