Deborah (Debbie) Cole

Mrs. Deborah (Debbie) Cole,  67, of Fort Worth, Texas, and a former resident of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away Friday at Medical Center Alliance Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

Debbie was born Deborah Vaughn, Dec. 7, 1950, in LaGrange, the daughter of the late Lewis Wilburn and Irene Elizabeth House Vaughn. Debbie was a member of the Chickamauga Church of Christ and was a former employee of the Live Oak Plant of Milliken and Company. She had made her home in Fort Worth, Texas, for the last 14 months. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and two grandchildren, Heather Elder and Suzanne Avery.

Survivors include: her husband, James Cole, Fort Worth, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Candy and Brandon Bauer, Fort Worth, Texas; Mandy Avery, Chickamauga, Georgia; Brandy Camp, LaGrange, Georgia; 13 grandchildren, Amber Hegwood, Curt Cooley, Joseph Elder, Anthony Elder, Justin Elder, Hunter Bagley, Savannah Thompson, Brandon Pritchett, Britney Strickland, Fisher Avery, Matthew Tyler, Montannah Pearce, Madison Brown; 20 great grandchildren; brother  and sister-in-law, Lewis and Lisa Vaughn, Chickamauga, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Eddie Elder, LaGrange, Georgia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Debbie Cole will be held at 2 p.m.Tuesday from the Broad Street Church of Christ with Shane Robinson, Minister (Chickamauga Church of Christ) officiating. Interment will follow on the Vaughn family lot in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home (Monday) evening from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
