Fanetta Machelle Malin Hill

The celebration of life service for Mrs. Fanetta Machelle Malin Hill of LaGrange will be held Tuesday at noon at the New Community Church on South Davis Road. Pastor Lamar Hardwick will officiate.   Burial will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Hill, a native of Norfolk, Virginia, was born Dec. 14, 1979, and was the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn Malin and the late Mr. Victor Malin.  She was a graduate of Grandby High School in Norfolk and attended Christopher Newport University.  She was an outstanding athlete.  She graduated from West Georgia Technical College and became a licensed practical nurse.  She was a very dedicated nurse with Pruitt Healthcare in Greenville, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her husband, Traimone S. Hill; their children: Traimone S. Hill II and Tremauri Hill; her mother, Ms. Carolyn Malin Beasley, Lawrenceville, Virginia; two brothers: Christopher Mason, LaGrange; Victor J. Malin Jr., New Orleans, Louisiana; one sister, Sheena Perry, Norfolk, Virginia; great aunt, Clara Lee Pair, Louisville, Virginia; Bernice Palmer, Alberta, Virginia; Helen Tucker (Harvey), Richmond, Virginia; Shirley Harrison, Richmond, Virginia; great uncle, Walter Harrison, Richmond; aunts:  Brenda Moody, Alberta, Virginia; Angela Puryear, Broadnax, Virginia; Casandra Foye (Percy), Norfolk, Virginia; uncle, Russell Mason, Anthony Mason, Lawrenceville, Virginia;  Alvin Dugger (Clauedette), Emporia, Virginia;  uncles: Alfred Malin (Janet), Chesapeake, Virginia; Lamar Malin (Claudette) of Texas; Sebastian Malin (Dana), New Orleans, Louisiana; Timothy Malin (Venus), of South Carolina; Matthew Malin (Delicia), Chesapeake, Virginia;  mother-in-law, Mary Hill, LaGrange; sister-in-law, Twila Ware; two brothers-in-law: Tony Scott, Mancester, Georgia; Troy Hill (Sandra), LaGrange; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor J. Malin; paternal grandparents: Alfred (Bertha) Malin; and maternal grandparents: Russell (Julia) Mason.

The family will be at their home at 221 East Mount Zion Church Road.
