Mr. Robert Vaughn Yarbrough, 77, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Yarbrough was born April 28, 1940, in Salisbury, North Carolina, son of the late Robert L. Yarbrough and Edith Klutz Yarbrough.  He was employed with Milliken and Company before retiring and was a member and elder of Loyd Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Yarbrough was a member of the Optimist Club, involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and was a volunteer at Callaway Gardens.

Survivors include his children, Todd Yarbrough, Scot Yarbrough, Jennifer Keel, Julie Brown and Brittany Singleton; 13 grandchildren; sister, Fonda Bowman; brother, Dale Yarbrough; two nieces and two nephews.

Celebration of life memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Loyd Presbyterian Church, 550 Upper Glass Bridge Road, LaGrange, Georgia, 30240, with the Rev. Rix Threadgill officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to Loyd Presbyterian Church, 550 Upper Glass Bridge Road, LaGrange, Georgia,  30240, in memory of Robert Vaughn Yarbrough.
