The Thursday Lunch Club (TLC) met on Feb. 1 in the Fellowship Hall of the LaGrange First United Methodist Church. There were 119 people who enjoyed a delicious meal. The tables were decorated to celebrate Valentine’s Day with red hearts by the Lydia Circle of the LaGrange First UMC.

Jake Behr, program chair, introduced brothers Alán and Carlos Valdez. These brothers are remarkable musicians. They attend LaGrange College and are also on the tennis team at the college. Alán on the violin and Carlos on the guitar entertained the attendees with contemporary, church and county music. It was a wonderful performance by this duo.

The next meeting of TLC will be March 1 and will feature Storyteller Michael Reno Harrell.
