LaGrange High’s soccer teams opened their seasons at East Coweta on Tuesday, and they both came away with 2-2 ties.

In the boys’ game, LaGrange charged back from a 2-0 deficit in the second half to pull even and earn the tie.

Liam McDonald scored on an assist from Max Halcomb to get the Grangers within one.

With five minutes remaining, a penalty was called on East Coweta against John McDonald.

Halcomb took the penalty kick and made it to tie it at 2-2, and that’s the way the game ended.

In the girls’ game, it was Caroline Thompson scoring both goals for Lagrange, and Hana Sato had an assist on the second goal.
