The Callaway Lady Cavaliers beat Heard County 48-40 on Thursday to advance to the Region 5-AA championship game.

Callaway will play Lamar County at 7 p.m. at Spencer High.

In Thursday’s game, Chyna Cameron led Callaway with 19 points, and 15 of those points were in the second half.

Jasmine Dukes made two 3-pointers and scored 10 points.

Callaway outscored 14-9 in the fourth quarter to put it away.
