Mr. Alan Cecil Raby, Jr., age 75, of LaGrange, passed away on Dec. 13, 2017, at the LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Alan was born on April 17, 1942, to the late Allen Cecil Raby and Mae Lyles Raby.

Alan was a member of the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange.  He was a loyal and devoted member of the Jaycees and the Optimist Club of LaGrange. In both civic organizations, he was always a top fund raiser for various community projects they supported. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation from 5:30 p.m. until service hour at the funeral home.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, (706) 884-7117.
