Dave Ramsey says now is the time to sell your house if you’re wanting to sell. Why? There are several reasons.

First, interest rates are still about 4 percent on 30 year and 3.5 percent on 15 year. Secondly, bank owned homes are only about 3 percent of the market, not 40 percent like five years ago.

Next, people are making good money and want to move out of rentals where rent continues to go up.

If you already own a home you like and want to save some money, check to make sure it has R-38 insulation in the attic and have a heat and air system with a SEER rating of at least 13 or 15, if not higher.

The higher the SEER rating the more efficient your system.

Folks, you pay one time and you save as long as you’re in that house.

Trust me, that is the best money you will ever spend. If you save $100 a month in one year, you could enjoy several days sitting on the beach with the money you saved.
