Mary E. Maddox, age 101, passed away Friday.

She was born June 11, 1916, to the late, Andrew Maddox and Effie Hodo Maddox in Harris County, Georgia. She was educated in the Troup County community, a faithful member of Thankful Baptist Church and was previously employed as a domestic homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Ruby Mae Davidson and Thomas (Maxine) Maddox both of LaGrange, Georgia; grandchildren;  26 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; oldest cousin, Elisabeth Maddox Bostic; devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family that she loved dearly.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Thankful Baptist Church.
