Mrs. Connie Denise Thompson Young, age 50 ,of Columbus, passed away on Feb. 23, 2018, at her residence. 

Mrs. Young was born on June 26, 1967, in LaGrange to Billy Thompson and Brenda Storey Thompson (Riley). She worked for many years and an emergency room nurse at West Georgia Health, followed by other Nursing duties in the Health Care field. Survivors include her husband, Sandy Young; father, Billy Thompson and his wife Geri; mother, Brenda Riley and her husband Kyle; brothers, Brian Thompson and his wife Gina and the Rev. Brad Thompson and his wife Katie; step-children, Andy Young, Katie Young and Christian Young; step-grandchildren, one step-brother, one step-sister, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Callaway Baptist Church with the Rev. Brad Thompson officiating.
