The City of LaGrange Relay for Life Team is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run March 17 on The Thread to help raise money for local cancer survivors and their caregivers.

The city’s team, City Slickers, is hoping to raise money for the annual Relay for Life event in April.

The St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run will take place at the beginning of the Granger Park segment on The Thread behind St. Mark’s Episcopal Church near the corner of West Haralson and North Greenwood Streets.

The entry fee is $20 before the day of the event and will include a t-shirt. The entry fee the day of the event is $25.

City employees will also be able to receive 250 Go365 points if they participate in the run.

Relay for Life honors the strength and courage of cancer survivors and their caregivers.

All proceeds will go to the Troup County Relay for Life.
