Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Truitt Morgan, 93, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Florence Hand Home.

Mrs. Morgan was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Atlanta, daughter of late Carey and Ethel Craft Oliver. She was a lifelong member of St. James United Methodist Church in Hogansville and retired from Hogansville Pharmacy after almost 50 years of service.

Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Jane and Tom Bozeman of Hogansville; son and daughter in-law, Lamar and Carol Truitt of Mountville; grandchildren, Phillip Truitt, Stephen Truitt, Denise Freeman, Kristi East; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas Truitt, Avery East, David Truitt, Payton Rose Truitt; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben P. Truitt and Lloyd B. Morgan.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Willow Heim and the Rev. Dr. Lamar Truitt will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
