Barbara Hoggs passed away Thursday.

She was born Nov. 58, 1943, in Roanoke (Randolph County) Alabama to the late Bobby Lee Jones and Ruby Moore Clark.

She graduated from East Depot High School, Class of 1962; was employed by GH Lanier and taught at Southern Union.

Barbara served faithfully at New Hope Baptist Church, Fredonia.

Survivors include her children:  Pamela McFarlin (Leroy Gunn), Tamika (Tony) Sirmons, Christopher (Angela) McFarlin, Phillip (Robin) Andrews; stepchildren, Cheryl (Michael) Stiggers, Debbie Hoggs, Yolanda (Mark) McCord, Edward Hoggs; brothers:  Herman Jones of Columbus, Georgia and Donald (Erma) Jones of College Park, Georgia; grandchildren; great grandchildren; special cousins,  friends and relatives.

The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem, West Point.  Dr. W.T. Edmondson and the Rev. Shandor Calloway will officiate.

The family will be at their home at 7009 County Road 267, Fredonia.

The excellent care of Mrs. Hoggs is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
