Bobbie Sue Studdard, 78, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at her home.

Mrs. Studdard was born April 24, 1939, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Howard and Marie Cosper Truett Rice and J.H. Rice. She worked for Playtex, Hanes Hoisery, and retired from Carpet Tile. She was a member of Wehadkee Baptist Church and loved to support her son in his Gospel music ministry. Mrs. Studdard was preceded in death by parents; her husband of 58 years, Calvin William Studdard and her brother Howard Truett.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Gayle Studdard of LaGrange; sister, Sandra and Arthur Foster of LaGrange; brother, James and Diane Rice of LaGrange; step-sister, Margo Webster of Kings NC; 3 great grandchildren, Jacob Webb, Brandon Webb, and Kevin Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. Nick Pilgrim, the Rev. Olin White and Rev. Bryan Geter officiating.  Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
