Mr. Bobby Lewis Ray, age 71, of LaGrange, passed away on March 16, 2018.  Mr. Ray was born on Jan. 1, 1947, in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Ed Jennings and Lorene Ray.  He was a truck driver for many years and most recently worked for the Troup County Board of Education as a bus driver.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Nell Copeland Ray; son, Bobby Lewis Ray, Jr.; daughters, Francheska Ray, Deborah Tillman (Marlo), Kimberly Bailey (Antonio) and Robin Ray; brothers, Willie C. Ray (Betty Ann), John Otis Ray, Thomas Kyles (Mattie); sisters, Tracy Zachary (Cilas), Janice and her husband Victor and Wendy Jennings; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Friday until service hour at the funeral home.
