Mr. Charlie Herman Snellings, Jr. passed away Saturday.

He was born June 15, 1921, to the late Herman Sr. and Annie Mae (Martin) Snellings.

He joined the First Baptist Church; and was employed by West Point Pepperell for 37 years until retirement.

Survivors include his children, Ida Philpots, Fairburn, Georgia; Dorothy Gray, Newnan, Georgia;  Christine Hill, Chicago, Illinois; Herman Snellings, III (Edna), Jonesboro, Georgia; Kenneth Snellings, LaGrange, Georgia; David Snellings (Channie), Ellenwood, Georgia; Johnny Gray (Michelle), Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren; sister-in-law, Goldie Mae Snellings, LaGrange, Georgia; Minnie Lee Newton, Valley, Alabama, and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Warren Temple UM Church. The family will be at their home at 201 Carver Street and will receive friends Friday from 6-7 p.m. at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
