Dear Editor,

Many thanks and congratulations to the students of the Troup County School System who participated in the demonstration in favor of common sense gun control and to the school administrators who permitted them to do so without penalty.

This is what democracy and good citizenship is all about. Keep up the good work! Please vote in our upcoming primary and general election. Vote against all those regardless of party who voted against you.

Then maybe you’ll get something done. It’s all that simple.
