The celebration of life service for Mr. Auburn Brewer Sr. of Franklin will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mount Zion Community Church, Highway 34, in Franklin. Pastor Reginald Coleman will officiate.

Burial will be in the Stateline Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenn.

Mr. Brewer, a native of Glenn, Heard County, Georgia, was born April 12, 1935, and was the son of the late Roy Lee Brewer and Florence Ware Brewer Zachary.

He was employed with McLain, Barber and Jared Jones Logging Companies until retirement. He was a member of Stateline Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Lizzie Mae Brewer, Franklin; seven children, Freda Miller (Jimmie), Stone Mountain; Vernon Brewer (Ellen), Teresa Brewer, Auburn Brewer Jr., all of LaGrange, Virgil Brewer (Meco), Villa Rica, Georgia, Cynthia Satterwhite (Tony), Montgomery, Alabama, Hurley Glenn (Lovonia), Franklin; special daughter-in-law, Sandra Brewer, LaGrange; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Brewer (Spud); four sisters, Zelma Reid, Selena Daniel, all of Franklin, Cecil Freeman, San Diego, California, and Priscella Williams, LaGrange; nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred Brewer, Jimmie Edmondson and Joe Edmondson; and his sisters, Aurelia Watkins and Sarah Cody.

The family will be at 6357 Georgia Highway 219 in Franklin.
