Antonio Harris, 42, was arrested after being caught entering a vehicle at Granger Park Thursday night, according to the police report. An officer discovered Harris halfway in a vehicle and asked him why he was there.

Harris told police he had the owner’s permission to be in the vehicle and was getting change to buy food. Harris could not give the officer the vehicle owner’s name, according to the police report.

Harris was then handcuffed for suspected entering auto. Before the officer could contact the vehicle owner, Harris allegedly told officers he pulled on the truck’s handle, found it unlocked and checked for money to buy food, according to the police report. Harris was then arrested.
