LaGrange police are searching for man wanted for battery, robbery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and criminal trespass. Reginald Billingslea is wanted after he allegedly attacked his partner at their apartment at Lee’s Crossing on April 10, according to LaGrange Police Department Det. Rebecca Noles.

“The two had an altercation at the residence that they shared,” Noles said. “The criminal trespass warrant was for causing damage to the residence. He attacked her to get her cell phone, snatched it from her possession and physically assaulted her, leaving marks all over her body.”

Officers later recovered the phone, Noles said.

Once found, Billingslea is facing charges for false imprisonment because the victim tried to get away from him, but he pulled on her hair, yanked her down and prevented her escape, according to Noles.

Billingslea is facing charges for criminal damage for forcing his way into the residence and causing less than $500 worth of damage to the apartment, according to Noles.

Anyone with information on Billingslea’s location is encouraged to call Noles at (706) 883-2695 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
