Chattahoochee Riverkeeper will hold a sunset jazz cruise on West Point Lake on Friday, May 18 from 7 p.m. to 9 pm.

The cruise will take place aboard the Miss Sally floating classroom and will feature an evening sunset cruise on West Point Lake and the opportunity to hear live jazz standards, R&B and rock classics performed by Rye Ola with Bill Wooten on guitar, Chris Barnes on bass and flutist Burdette Becks. Passengers will also learn about the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper’s role in the middle Chattahoochee River watershed.

The cost of this cruise is $30 per person with an optional dinner from Moe’s Grill for $10. The outing will start promptly at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m., departing from and returning to Pyne Road Park.

Those interested may register online by visiting Chattahoochee.org (events tab, general watershed outings). Preregistration is required.
