Mrs. Grace P. Murrell

Mrs. Grace P. Murrell, 88, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Hospice LaGrange.

Born Aug. 22, 1929, in Walton County, Georgia, Mrs. Murrell was the daughter of the late James William and Kate Bradshaw Phillips. She attended Baptist Tabernacle in LaGrange, was retired from Milliken and Co. and had lived in Troup County since 1952.

 Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Sue and Jim Esposito of LaGrange; sons and daughters in-law, Dwight and Amy Murrell of Hogansville and Phillip and Donna Murrell of Pinehurst, North Carolina; brother and sister in-law, Grover and Jane Phillips of Monroe; grandchildren, Brandy Murrell, Joey and Carla Esposito, Christopher Murrell, Mallory and Chris Risler, and Matt and Hilary Murrell; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murrell was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Murrell; and a great-granddaughter, Presley Murrell.

 Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 12, in the chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Bozeman will officiate and entombment will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
