Mrs. Diane Elizabeth McRae, age 66, of LaGrange, passed away on May 14, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. McRae was born on March 21, 1952, in Troup County to Cecil Aldridge and Catherine Denny Aldridge.  Her mother preceded her in death as well as a sister, Kathy McWaters.  She worked at the Mountville School for over 26 years and was a member of Baptist Tabernacle.  

Other than her father, she is survived by her husband, Jerry Lamar McRae; children, Shane Spear McRae (Megan), Jeffery Lee McRae and Scotty Wayne McRae (Kela Leatherwood); brothers, David Aldridge and Terry Aldridge (Debara); five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, extended family and friends.  

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. Charles Chapman and the Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. 

 Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens.  

Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from noon until service hour.
