Mrs. Gloria Jean Trammell

Gloria Jean Trammell passed away Saturday.

She was born May 2, 1968, to Lillie Pearl Smith and the late Sylvester Blackmon. She was adopted and reared by her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Elijah and Willie Mae Jackson.

She was a dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, Georgia.  

Gloria graduated from LaGrange High School, class of 1987. She went on to continue her education receiving her master’s degree and was employed as a teacher in the Pre-K program at Greater Peace Child Development Center in Opelika, Alabama.

Survivors include her husband, Aundra Trammell; her son, Andre Bennett; numerous grandchildren, stepchildren, mother, Lillie Pearl Smith; brothers, Daniel Jackson and Mark (Nikki) Blackmon; sisters, Lisa (John) Culpepper and Angela (Willie) Bailey; uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem.

The family will be at their home at 133 Brenda Blvd.

The excellent care of Mrs. Trammell is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
