Mr. Hugh Roger Lynch, of West Point, passed away Tuesday at East Alabama Medical Center Lanier.

Mr. Lynch, a native of West Point, was born Nov. 13, 1953, and was the son of the late Jim and Susie Mae Lynch. He attended Ethel W. Kight High School and was a carpenter. He was a member of New Harmony C.M.E. Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Todd Lynch; four children, Phillip Lynch, Octavious Todd, Kimberly Dawson, Terrance Tawana Holloway; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce (Joe) Green, Shirley Jackson, Crystal Jennings; two brothers, Greg Lynch and John T. Parham; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Simpson; brother, Vincent Lynch; and great-granddaughter, Leslie Davidson.

The celebration of life service will be Monday, May 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the New Harmony C.M.E. Church on the Adams Road. Pastor John Pollard and the Rev. Christopher Johnson will officiate. 

The family will be at the home of his sister, Joyce Green at 607 South Sixth Avenue in Lanett.
