Mrs. Letha Mae Bolt Moat, age 93, of LaGrange, passed away on May 19, 2018, at the Florence Hand Home. Mrs. Moat was born on Oct. 6, 1924, in Heard County to the late Isom and Angie Bolt. 

She worked for many years at Callaway Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Dorsey Moat; daughter, Betty Jean Moat; several brothers and sisters. 

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Moat and his wife Jane, of LaGrange, and Phillip Moat and his wife Jewell, of LaGrange; sister, Opal Allen; grandchildren, Thomas Moat (Teresa), Scott Moat, Michelle Moore (Scott) and Jamie Moat; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with the Rev. Bob Humphries officiating.

Interment will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church, 1258 Macedonia Road, Franklin, Georgia, 30217.
