Man arrested for cocaine possession

Arsenio Williams, 37, was arrested Tuesday morning after officers from the LaGrange Police Department’s special investigations unit looked into his involvement in the sale of cocaine throughout the city. 

According to a LPD press release, a probation search was executed at Williams’ residence on Daugherty Street at 11:30 a.m. 

Approximately 3.5 ounces of crack cocaine were found, along with less than an ounce of marijuana, digital scales and a Glock handgun, according to the press release. 

The handgun was reported stolen from West Point.  

After Williams was arrested, police searched a residence on the 100 block of Northwood Drive he was associated with. 

At the residence, officers found dishes used for cooking crack cocaine and materials used to cut crack cocaine during the cooking process, according to the press release. Williams is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and theft by receiving stolen property. 

According to the press release, the State of Georgia Department of Community Supervision assisted the LPD in Williams’ arrest.
