Two men arrested for alleged methamphetamine possession

Two men were arrested for multiple drug charges Sunday morning, including drug trafficking, by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office. Jonathan Hurt, 26, and Timothy Willeman, 21, were stopped for going 101 mph in a 70 miles per hour zone, according to TCSO Sgt. Stewart Smith.

Three bags of meth, 40 Adderall pills and a bag of marijuana were found on them, according to Smith.

According to the Troup County Jail arrest/release records, Hurt, of Raleigh, North Carolina, was charged with possession of a schedule two controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, trafficking amphetamine, driving on suspended/revoked license, failure to use safety belts in passenger vehicle, speeding 24-33 miles per hour over the speed limit and DUI-less safe alcohol.

According to the Troup County Jail arrest/release records, Willeman, of Yorktown, Texas, was charged with possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
