The Troup County Roads and Engineering Department announced Monday that Old School Road is temporarily closed to thru traffic between Rock Mills Road and Cofield Road for storm drainage work. 

Harmony Church Road should be used as a short detour as necessary. The county expects to reopen the road before the end of the week.

As with all road construction, motorists are advised to use extra caution in work zones.  Slow down, stay alert, pay attention and obey all work zone, advisory signs.
