On Tuesday, the Troup County Board of Commissioners entered into an executive session following the regular meeting where board appointments were decided.

The appointments were announced following the meeting.

The commissioners made appointments to the following boards and committees:

• Tommy Whitworth was appointed to the Board of Health
• Brenda Royster was re-appointed to the Family and Children’s Services Board of Directors
• Tod Tentler was re-appointed and Keith Flory was appointed to the Pathways Community Service Board
• Charles Milligan was re-appointed to the Troup County Public Facilities Authority
• Milton Smith was re-appointed and Ellis Cadenhead was appointed to the Region 4 EMS Council
• JJ Kuerzi was appointed to the tourism committee

The Troup County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to hold its next work session on June 15 at 9 a.m. at 100 Ridley Avenue.
